​Appartamento autonomo in edificio storico tipico della architettura catanese del XVIII/XIX sec. Questa parte di città sorge su un banco lavico che ha coperto il mare che lambiva il lato sud del Castello Ursino durante l'eruzione lavica del XVII sec.​

Ristrutturato recentemente dal proprietario architetto in uno stile che, pur rispettando la tipologia tradizionale, ha donato un design moderno e più giovane.
Posizionato nel cuore del centro storico della città (riconosciuto dall'UNESCO patrimonio dell'umanità) l'edificio si trova proprio di fronte ad uno degli elementi architettonici più rappresentativi della storia catanese: il Castello Ursino costruito nel XII sec per volontà di Federico II di Svevia.
Oggi questa zona è il cuore pulsante della vita notturna e diurna catanese e centro gastronomico della cucina tipica della nostra zona. Da qui non avrete bisogno di alcun mezzo di trasporto perchè vi trovate già nel cuore della città e lontano del traffico cittadino.​

L'appartamento si compone di un ampio soggiorno con divano letto matrimoniale e tavolo da pranzo, di una cucina, una camera da letto matrimoniale, un bagno ed uno spazio armadio. Collegato alla cucina ed alla camera da letto c'è un terrazzino ottimo per il relax pomeridiano o per una pausa the. Sul terrazzino è presente uno spazio adibito a lavanderia con lavabiancheria e lavabo.
Le stanze sono arredate in modo semplice ma con originalità dove il colore gioca un ruolo determinante.
Una seconda terrazza è raggiungibile tramite la scala presente in soggiorno; qui è previsto uno spazio solarium con ombrellone e sedie per prendere il sole.
La localizzazione è perfetta per trascorrere un soggiorno sereno e senza l'utilizzo dell'auto. A pochi passi dal Duomo si possono raggiugere in pochi minuti tutti i luoghi piu interessanti e simbolici della città , della sua cultura e della sua architettura. A pochi metri vi sono il mercato storico della pescheria, il museo civico, il monastero dei benedettini, la cattedrale, la via Etnea (via principale e salotto della città), l'anfiteatro greco e l'Odeon, il teatro dell'opera Vincenzo Bellini.
Da qui potete certamente godere la città nel pieno delle sue attrazioni.

Self-catering appartment in typical historic building in Catania. Recently renovated by the architect owner in a modern and up-to-date style yet respecting the typical architectural tradition.The appartment comprises of a spacious living room with double sofa-bed and dining table, a kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom as well as plenty of cupboad space.Adjoining the kitchen and bedroom there is a terrace which is perfect for a relaxing afternoon or teatime.On the same terrace there is also a useful space suitable for clothes washing with a sink and washing board. All rooms are simply furnished with originality with colour widely used throughout.From the living room it is possible to access steps which lead to a second terrace suitable for sunbathing and equipped with seating and parasols.The location is perfect for a relaxing stay in the city without the need for a car being only a short walk away from the cathedral (Duomo) and within a few minutes one can reach the most interesting and important sites for culture and architecture.It is situated a few metres away from the historic fish market, the civic museum, Benedictine monastery, the cathedral, the main street via Etnea, the Greek amphitheatre, the Odeon and the operahouse. Positioned in the heart of the city's historic centre (recognised by UNESCO as a world heritage site), the building is opposite one of the most architecturally representative elements in the city's history-Castello Ursino, a castle constructed in the 12th century by Frederick II.
