La casa si trova in pieno centro storico di fronte al Castello Ursino, costruito da Federico II di Svevia e risalente al secolo XIII. La posizione privilegiata all'interno del percorso turistico catanese e della sua vita notturna la rendono esclusiva per il soggiorno in città. Da qui, con brevi camminate, è possibile visitare quasi tutti i punti turistici principali della città e la sera ci si ritrova al centro della vita notturna cittadina (ristoranti, pubs e discoteche).  Tra i luoghi di interesse immediatamente vicini: il Duomo, l'anfiteatro greco e l'odeon, il monastero dei benedettini, l'anfiteatro romano, le terme achillee, le terme della rotonda, il pozzo di Gammazita, il fiume Amenano, Palazzo Biscari, Via Etnea, Teatro massimo Bellini, il mercato storico del pesce.
Con l'ausilio dei mezzi pubblici a 10 min si arriva alla zona delle spiagge di sabbia e di roccia vulcanica, ed è possibile raggiungere l'Etna con circa 40 min di auto.
La casa è da poco ristrutturata dal proprietario architetto in chiaro stile contemporaneo riuscendo a mantenere, nell'utilizzo dei materiali ed in alcuni dettagli decorativi, la tradizione storica del luogo e dell'edificio.

La casa si trova al secondo ed ultimo piano di un edificio del XIX sec. ed è su due livelli: al primo livello la zona giorno con un ampio salone (con TV SAT, proiettore e surround), una zona pranzo, una cucina moderna molto comoda (con barbecue esterno), un bagno comune. Tutto il piano si sviluppa attorno ad un terrazzo giardino con splendida vista sul Castello Ursino.
Al livello superiore ci sono due grandi camere da letto con un totale di 6 posti letto. Le due stanze sono dotate di bagno in camera ed una delle due camere ha un accesso esclusivo alla terrazza a livello con solarium privato e doccia all'aperto ed splendida vista del vulcano ETNA. Allo stesso livello si trova anche lo spazio lavanderia. La casa è attrezzata di tutto, compreso WIFI free.
Tutto l'arredo è di design raffinato ed alcuni pezzi sono stati realizzati su disegno esclusivo del proprietario.
La casa dista 10 min dall'aeroporto, 10 min dalla stazione dei treni e 5 min (a piedi) dalla via principale dello shopping cittadino. A 5 min di taxi si trova il terminal degli autobus per Taormina (40 min), Siracusa ed Ortigia (30 min) ed altre località suggestive dell'isola.

​The house is situated in the heart of the historic city centre and opposite Castello Ursino, a castle constructed for Frederick II and dating back to 1300. It has a privileged position inside the main tourist route and within an area noted for the main hot-spots in the city nightlife; restaurants, pubs and discoteques. It is the perfect location for an exclusive and very comfortable city stay.Within a brief walking distance it is possible to visit nearly all the main tourist sights amongst these the Duomo (cathedral), the Greek amphitheatre, the Benedictine monastery, the Roman amphitheatre, the spas of Achilles and ' della Rotonda', the well of Gammazita, the river Amenano, Palazzo Biscari, via Etnea and the Massimo Bellini operahouse. Using public transport, a ten minute ride can take you to the sandy beaches and volcanic rocks  and it is possible to reach Mount Etna by road in about 40 minutes. Bicycles can be organised to tour the historic city centre. The house has been recently renovated by the architect owner in a contemporary style but at the same time retaining the original features and materials used in the architectural tradition.The property is situated on the second and top floor: the first level for daytime use with a spacious living room with TV, projector and speakers, a dining area, a very modern and comfortable kitchen (with external barbeque) and a communal bathroom with traditional Sicilian tilework dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. The whole floor is created around a terrace garden with a splendid view towards the castle : the upper floor has two large bedrooms with a total of beds to accommodate 6 people and each bedroom has a private bathroom.From one of the bedrooms there is  access to a terrace with a sunbathing area, outside shower and a fantastic view towards Mount Etna. Here, too, there is a spacious clothes- washing area. The house is fully fitted with all mod cons including WiFi and pc. The furnishings are of high quality design with some pieces having been exclusively commissioned by the owner. Catania's airport (Fontanarossa) can be reached within 10 minutes as can the railway station and the house is also only a five minute walk away from the main shopping street. A five minute taxi ride can take you to the main bus terminal where further journeys can be made to Taormina ( 40 minutes), Siracusa and Ortygia (30 minutes) as well as many other interesting locations on the island.

​Das Apartment befindet sich in der historischen Altstadt, gegenueber des Castell Ursino, errichtet von Friedrich von Schwaben im 13. Jahrhundert. Die ausgezeichnete Lage innerhalb des tourisitschen Rundwegs und in der Naehe des Nachtlebens machen die Wohnung zu einem exklusiven und und komfortablen Ausgangspunkt fuer den Aufenhtalt in der Stadt. Voh hieraus kann man mit wenigen Schritten die touristischen Attraktionen der Stadt erreichen, abends findet das Nachtleben in Restaurants, Pubs und Diskotheken direkt in der Naehe statt. Unter den interessanten Orten in der Naehe befinden sich: der Dom, das griechische Amphitheater, das Odeon, das Benediktinerkloster, das roemische Amphitheater, die Thermen, der Gammazitabrunnen, der Fluss Amenano, Palazzo Biscari, Via Etnea, Theater Massimo Bellini.

Mithilfe der oeffentlichen Verkehrsmittel kann man innerhalb von 10 min Sand- und Lavafelsstraende erreichen, der Aetna kann in 40 min mit dem Auto erreicht werden.
Fahrraeder fuer die Erkundung des historischen Zentrums koennen zur Verfuegung gestellt werden.
Die Wohnung wurde kuerzlich vom Eigentuemer, einem Architekten, in modernem Stil rennoviert, bewahrt jedoch im Detail und im Material die historische Tradition des Ortes und des Gebaeudes. Die Wohnung befindet sich im zweiten und letzten Stockwerk eines historischen Gebaeudes und erstreckt sich ueber zwei Ebenen. Unten befindet sich ein grosszuegiger Wohbereich mit TV, Projektor, Surroundsound, zudem ein Essbereich mit moderner und komfortabler Kueche, ausserhalb gibt es einen Grill. Das Bad verfuegt ueber maiolische sizilianische Fliesen aus dem 20. Jhd. Das Stockwerk  gestaltet sich um eine Gartenterrasse mit vorzueglichem Blick auf das Castello ursino.
Im oberen Stockwerk befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer, insgesamt stehen 6 Betten zur Verfuegung. Zwei Zimmer verfuegen ueber ein separates Bad, ein Zimmer hat exklusiven Zugang zu einer eigenen Terrasse mit solarium, privater Dusche im Freien und wunderbarem Blick auf den Aetna. Auf der gleichen Ebene befindet sich auch die Waschmachine. Die Wohnung ist komplett ausgestattet, inklusive WiFi und PC.
Die Ausstattung ist in raffiniertem Design, darunter einige Stuecke aus dem Design des Eigentuemers.
Die Wohnung ist 10 min von Flughafen, 10 min vom Bahnhof und 5 min zu Fuss von der Haupteinkaufsstrasse entfernt. In 5 min mit dem Taxi ist der Busterminal mit Bussen nach Taormina (40 min), Siracusa ed Ortigia (30 min) und anderen sehenswerten Orten der Insel zu erreichen.
